Forum Semantic Systems
The Austrian Computer Society (OCG) coordinates a number of activities in the area of semantics in collaboration with STI Austria. This working group, entitled Forum Semantic Systems, has the following aims
- To setup a network for activities related to semantic technologies and their application areas;
- To promote semantic technologies to academia, industry, government, funding agencies, and the broader public;
- To support Austrian industry in becoming more active in the semantics field;
- To align and cooperate with the FIT-IT initiative of the Austrian Ministry of Transport, Infrastructure and Technology (BMVIT).
- To organize the "Semantic Systems in the Knowledge Society" event on an annual basis.
