Research Services
- Roadmaps: STI Austria coordinates and specification of Austria specific research roadmaps for future research and technology development. The aim of these research roadmaps are to ensure that the research conducted within Austria is relevant for the Austrian market and that developed technologies enable the advancement of the semantics market in Austria.
Technology Services
- Standardization: The aim of this services is to assist Austrian research and industry to bring their semantic technology advancements to standardization. STI Austria will provide guidance regarding which semantic technologies can be standardized and the best way to bring these technologies to standardization bodies.
- Challenges: This service utilizes the testbeds established by STI International and organizes challenges at Austrian level to encourage the further development of Semantic technologies by Austrian research and industrial bodies.
Realization Services
- Commercialization: The aim of the STI Austria commercialization service is to bring research ideas and inventions from STI Austria members to the marketplace. The main aim of this service is to enable technology transfer from research to industry and to enable the establishment of new spinoffs where necessary.
- Education: The STI Austria education service runs educational and training events within Austria in order to increase the education with industrial organizations regarding semantics. The education service aims to improve the overall awareness and adoption of semantic technologies within Austria.
- Showcase: The STI Austria showcase service maintains a catalogue of semantic technologies that are developed within Austria by members of STI Austria. This catalogue enables those who are new to the Austrian semantics community to get an overview of the technologies being developed within Austria.
