STI Austria Launched

January 2009 sees the launch of the Semantic Technology Institute (STI) Austria, a National Center of STI International. STI Austria offers services specifically targeted at the Austrian market to members of STI International based in Austria. These services are related to research collaboration, standardization, dissemination and exploitation of semantic technologies in the Austrian marketplace. The national center is founded by the current Austrian members of STI International, namely STI Innsbruck, EC3, TU Vienna, Hanival, LiXto, and seekda.

The center will be located in Innsbruck, Austria and lead by Univ. Prof. Dieter Fensel.
